bidding on a used Smith & Nephew Exogen 4000+ Ultrasound Bone
Healing System in excellent condition. The Exogen 4000+ is
the only ultrasound bone stimulator approved by the FDA. The
Exogen is medically proven to promote the body's natural
healing process, speeding the repair of broken bones. The
system is also clinically proven to speed up the healing of
certain new fractures by 38 percent and effectively healing
86 percent of hard-to-heal bone fractures.
This device comes in a complete kit and is amazingly easy to
use! The ultrasound transducer is only about 1" diameter and
the monitor features a large LCD screen for easier
visibility, simple one-button operation and audio signals to
guide you through each treatment. You get a velcro-adjustable
cuff, which holds the contact gel and transducer in place.
This unit has
been thoroughly cleaned and disinfected however you should
also wipe down the skin contact parts with rubbing alcohol
before using. This device is intended for use only by
recommendation or prescription from a doctor. Please check
with your doctor before using this item.
The usage counter
on my monitor displays
53 full treatments and 3 partials.
Each treatment lasts 20 minutes. The battery pack in the Exogen 4000+ is conservatively rated for 150 full
treatments. Most actually last over 300 treatments, however
I must tell you I have heard that the battery pack is NOT
user-replaceable, and Smith & Nephew mayl not replace the
battery packs in units which are resold on eBay. It's in excellent
condition and works perfectly!

I'm selling it
because it works, I'm healed! The Exogen 4000+ helped heal a stress
fracture in record time and since most insurance plans won't
cover the cost of these expensive devices, somebody else should
get the benefit of using one of these without having to pay a
fortune to own one.

Although there are
close to 2 dozen active listings for Exogen units on
eBay right now, my listing was deleted because I was not
aware I had to include the mandatory disclaimer (below)
for medical products. Only 6 of the other
listings include this disclaimer and none of those
include a contact name, address, and phone number, which
eBay also requested I post on my listing. I will not do
that since it would be a violation of my privacy to
include my personal information on a public forum.
